THE FARNE ISLANDS CHART: Many individuals and groups visiting the Farne Islands on our motor vessels are often to be seen with all manner of maps and diagrams to enhance our on-board commentaries. In no way do these compare with the Admiralty navigational charts used by our skippers, the detail of which is likely to confuse all but the experienced seafarer.
