Your Skipper will transport you back in time to follow the path Grace Darling and her father took during their dramatic rescue in 1838. Throughout the trip, our knowledgeable Skipper and Crew provide a detailed commentary and are available to answer any questions.

This tour offers plenty of opportunities to see the abundant bird life that nests on these gorgeous islands during the breeding season, which runs from May until the end of July. Lasting two hours, you can see the likes of, Cormorants, Kittiwakes, Arctic Terns, Guillemots, Shags Razorbills, Eider Ducks and Puffins.

The fantastic Grey Seal Colony is also visited on the cruise. The Farne Islands are home to an estimated 3 to 4 thousand Grey Seals, and considerable numbers can be seen basking on the rocks, especially during low tide when more of the Isles are visible. The colony is growing in size, with over a thousand Seal pups born each autumn/winter.
