Experience Inner Farne Up Close

One of the most memorable ways to discover the islands is our Inner Farne landing trip. This experience lasts around two and a half to three hours and includes a full cruise around the islands before landing on Inner Farne itself.

During the journey you will see dramatic cliffs alive with seabirds and visit the well-known Grey Seal colony that lives around the islands. Our commentary also brings the story of Grace Darling’s famous rescue in 1838 to life as we follow the historic route across the water.

Once on Inner Farne, you will have around an hour to explore, take photographs and experience the remarkable wildlife up close.

Enjoy a Relaxed Visit to Holy Island

For those who prefer a longer day out, our Holy Island (Lindisfarne) trip offers a wonderful mix of sea views and island exploration.

This 4.5 hour trip takes place aboard one of our comfortable double decker boats, with plenty of space to enjoy the scenery along the way. After a scenic cruise, you will have around two hours to explore Holy Island itself.

From historic landmarks to peaceful coastal walks and local shops, there is plenty to enjoy before returning across the water.

Wildlife Lovers Will Enjoy the Puffin Seabird Trip

For many visitors, the wildlife of the Farne Islands is the main attraction. Our Puffin Seabird Trip, running from May to the end of July, focuses entirely on the incredible birdlife of the islands.

This two hour cruise circles the Farnes without landing, giving you excellent views of Puffins along with Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Arctic Terns, Razorbills, Shags and more.

End the Day with a Sunset Cruise

If you are looking for something a little different, our Sunset Cruise offers a peaceful and atmospheric way to see the islands. As the light fades and the seabirds settle for the evening, the Farne Islands take on a completely different character.
